Live workstation status

How this computer works

This is a functional browser-based operating-system simulation, including interactive windows, files, a spreadsheet, browser, system settings, terminal, user accounts, printing, performance, network and storage.

Faults are intentionally introduced so you can diagnose, repair and verify them as a helpdesk technician.

Mobile device laboratory

The phone and tablet have separate simulated operating systems. Tap their actual screen apps and controls; results are connected to helpdesk tickets.

Device information

Mobile tasks you can practice

Connect a company phone to Wi-Fi, clear low storage safely, restore a crashing app, sync tablet email, open files, use notes, view simulated notifications and test each repair.

Reasoning check

What do I know? What might I be assuming? Which safe test will reduce uncertainty? How can I show the repair worked?

Help with troubleshooting

Built-in, offline guidance responds to common helpdesk phrases. This is an explainable rule-based coach, not a cloud AI service.

Describe a problem in plain language to receive a troubleshooting plan.

Support Records linked support knowledge

Explore how device, symptom, diagnostic evidence, action and test are connected. All records are local and work offline.

Local knowledge fingerprint

This is a deterministic QR-style visual fingerprint, not a scannable QR code or an actual AI/tensor service. “Support Records” names the linked conceptual knowledge model used here.

Start with a reported problem, find its cause, make a safe change, and confirm the result.
